Hi there! I’d appreciate some advice about this fella. It’s grown like crazy since I repotted a month ago, sprouting 8 new leaves! Hooray! However, now he’s getting heavy and droopy. I’m not exactly sure what I should be using for support, and, how to get it in there without hurting anything. Do I cut anything off?? I’d added a couple of moss poles way back, but their usefulness seems to have ended. Thanks in advance for any tips! 🌿

They love to climb, so that’s probably why he’s looking “droopy.” He’ll begin crawling horizontally unless you give him a way to go vertical. I would add a few poles/support that are a decent amount taller than the plant is now so it has room to grow up. The best time to do that is when you’re repotting, but you could try to get them down there on the edges perhaps. I added some climbing poles to mine and began to train it to grow up (using the tape you’re using) and it’s doing so great!

Your monstera is beautiful! What type of potting soil did you use? I need to repot mine from its original pot that it came in

Thank you! I used this, as it was in the house already. This was the second time I’ve repotted. I got him originally at Costco, and he was pretty pitiful 😄 Much better looking now!
