# My monstera is rotting/ getting dry i'm not sure but its turning even…

My monstera is rotting/ getting dry i'm not sure but its turning even more brown should i leave it chop off that side of the leaf chop off the whole leaf and leave the stem or chop off everything. PS it also is not unrolling any more

Maybe you need to try improving moisture levels around it

Brown won’t hurt the plant though. No need to chop off a leaf with a bit of brown unless it’s purely aesthetic imo

I picked put the brown part not thrips just rotted from being wrapped for too long and it is almost fully unrolled. I also panic bought another monstera incase this one dies
