# Just bought another TC monstera, and it’s planted in this substrate.…

Just bought another TC monstera, and it’s planted in this substrate. Any idea what it is? I’m not sure what it is so I don’t know whether I should repot or not. I usually wait a couple weeks before checking the roots out to give it time to acclimate, but if this isn’t an appropriate substrate I want to change it asap.

Wow! Gold mine! Looks like Fluval Stratum to me! Best thing ever. Don’t repot. If you ever do, recycle this stuff into other plant pots. Super high nutrient stuff.
