Brand new plant owners here! We just brought Petey from the store.  
She I be concerned about this brown spot??

Info:  
• he is still in the nursery pot just sitting inside the bigger pot  
• he got watered today because the soil was super super dry

The spot looks like a sunburn and isn’t hurting the plant, you can leave the leaf ☺️ I would get a moss pole for him and let the soil dry out between waterings. You don’t need to repot right away unless the soil isn’t fast draining
