# Hi can anyone tell me why my Monstera’s leaves might have these…

Hi can anyone tell me why my Monstera’s leaves might have these ridges? My newest leaf opening up already has one. It’s just too strange that 3/4 of my leaves have the exact same curl on them. Maybe it’s genetic? Thanks!

It's probably just the way the leaves unfurl. As they get more mature they may flatten out more. Or you just have a plant that wants to be recognized for it's own individuality. Stray from the norm. She's an independent woman! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
