# any advice on what do to? i haven’t watered it in a couple weeks…

any advice on what do to? i haven’t watered it in a couple weeks because i figured they were yellowing due to overwatering. also do i need a bigger pot? and do i need to keep it outside? i live in texas and it gets up to 100 and over.

Check the roots! If she is root bound go up a pot size, if not just repot her back in the same size pot with fresh soil :)

im going to check those out and most likely get a new pot because mine doesn’t have very good drainage. thank you!

Since where you live is hotter I would suggest using a mister and mist water on it daily as well as keeping it near a window but, not in scorching direct sunlight. If your leaves begin to droop then its most likely time to water as well as since it does it hotter where you live you may want to water every week or week and a half if soil is dry. Also, using a pot that has drain holes at the bottom works great to make sure that the roots have the chance to dry out and not sit in water. This is just what helps me keep mine healthy and thriving. Hope this helps. Happy planting 🪴

so keep it inside by a window and not outside? i live in an apartment with a balcony and i have a table that doesnt get too much sun out there, would that be a good spot for it? also im gonna go to walmart and looking for a pot with more drainage because the pot it’s in now only has a quarter sized whole in the bottom. also, i just realized from other post that mine has two different monsteras in it. do i separate them or keep them together?
