# she just unfurled three new leaves around two weeks ago and now this…

she just unfurled three new leaves around two weeks ago and now this little guy is yellowing. too much sun, not enough, humidity issues? am i over watering? it’s usually a week week and a half before the too half of the soil is dry. a few weeks ago i had to chop a couple leaves off because it had sat in my hot car when i got it and developed black spots. no signs of any pests. let me know what you think!

Plants do lose leaves. I water mine once a week. Till water comes out the bottom.

yeah i bottom water her and too water. i did a root check and she wasn’t getting enough drainage. had a soft stem, had to add some chunky mix to it, gonna let it dry out

I use miracle grow indoor potting mix. With river rocks on the bottom. And extra perlite in the soil as well. Mine is doing amazing.some people put moss or orchid bark as well.

Use a tropical plant soil mix or aroid soil mix! Works so much better. My monstera has thrived after switching!
