I’m so glad to have found this chat group.  
I adore Monsterra’s and finally got one almost 2 years ago. It started pretty small.

I’ve seen one leaf with a small hole in it, but still haven’t seen any fenestrations.  
Should I be more patient?

I’ve got it in a pretty good window. My only concern is the heat/ac vent that is by it.  
I can see some aerial roots starting to come out. I’ve read that’s pretty standard too.

Wondering if anyone has any tips, and maybe some advice on encouraging fenestrations… unless I just need to be more patient 😊

You can see the small aerial roots. Is this a good sign? I’ve done a bit of reading and most say it’s normal.

Aerial roots are normal ☺️

I fertilize twice a month in growing season. Once in winter. I also mix the fertilizer pleats in the soil when I repot.

it appears your juvenile monstera deliciosa is stretching towards the light, the nodes should be less than two inches apart if it’s getting proper light. despite often being labeled as low light plants, they actually prefer being in bright light. i recommend gradually moving it closer to the window, more light will also encourage fenestration

This is the window it sits in. Blinds are usually open so it gets sun almost all day.

This is it as a baby. Does it still look like a different type of Monstera other than deliciosa?
