# hi so my step dad gifted me this plant last year and he doesn’t know…

hi so my step dad gifted me this plant last year and he doesn’t know what kind of plant it is exactly. planta keeps telling me it’s a monstera but it doesn’t have holes and it keeps putting out new leafs but still no holes on the new ones or older ones. can anyone tell me more about my plant and what to expect?

It’s a baby monstera. Once your plant starts to mature more, they will start to put out new leaves with fenestrations! You can also look into fertilizers for monsteras to help promote new growth as well. :)

Sometimes baby monsteras don’t have holes in the leaves. It IS a monstera.
