# My monstera is really happy - putting out 3 new leaves in the past…

My monstera is really happy - putting out 3 new leaves in the past week. No signs of any unhappiness.

But I have noticed very small mushrooms growing out of the base of my moss pole. There have been 2 mushrooms in the past 2 months that I have scooped out by hand. Any suggestions?

Mushrooms are not a problem, except if you don’t like the look of them! They show your soil is healthy. You can just pluck them out if you don’t like them there :)
