Does this look okay as far as where I’ve placed the pole and tie? She was leaning heavily the opposite way of the pole. Just not sure if I did this right.
Thanks in advance!

It probably won’t really use it till it’s much bigger, you can tie it to the poll to encourage it to go that way but till it get aerial roots to attach to the poll it’s fine I think!

it looks like it’s on the front of the plant to me, which you don’t want. are there aerial roots on the other side of the vine, under the newest leaf?

There are not. Should the pole be on the side that the plant is leaning towards? I was just trying to give it some support to grow more up instead of out if that makes sense. But honestly I have no idea what I’m doing

lol no worries!! happens to the best of new monstera parents. monsteras are unique in the sense they have a back, and should never really be turned! the leaves will always “grow out,” by allowing the roots to climb and growing up! the way the newest petiole is coming through suggests the other side is the back to me, and the leaves are just turning themselves to get light. if you can send a pic of the other side here i can help determine the “back” and instruct where to put the pole!

Does this look better? I moved the pole to the other side and am just letting it rest there
