# How can I tell the back from the front of my monstera if the root is…

How can I tell the back from the front of my monstera if the root is where all the big leaves are? Pls I am trying to put a moss pole on it but don’t know where to put it :(

I would say that is the back. place the pole there and try to lightly attach some of the stems to the pole and then turn it around.
