i bought some fuzzy cloth gloves from dollar tree and wipe mine off weekly :) you can also make or buy a spray that better cleans the leaves! you can try a mix of water, neem oil, castile soap, and isopropyl alcohol and just spray on both sides of the leaves (recommended by fellow plant tok creator)

I use this spray when I first bring new plants home just in case they are carrying any freeloaders.

Hi there, I take my big plants out of their outer pots and into the shower or bath and just let the water do its thing to get the dust off. It works well if you time it for when they need watering. For plants with hardy leaves like these that are so plentiful, this method works well without needing the pesticide ingredients suggested above (no shade, I use a spray with water, neem and castille soap for treating pests but I think it’s unnecessary for getting rid of dust).

If you would rather just wipe, I use either plain cloth gloves, fuzzy gloves or an old towel cut up into hand sized pieces. Wet any of those and wipe the leaves where the dust accumulates.

Best of luck! 🌿🌿🌿

Honestlyy I would do the shower way but My mum would think dirt gets in the shower٫ but I might use a duster or wipe considering everyones saying that. But thank you sm!

Fair enough! Another option is also to take plants out when it’s raining and let them get watered and leaves cleaned that way :) Anyway best of luck! Your plant baby will thank you!

Ngl might try that! do I need to dry the leaves after since I know they cant be that wet?

#### Bb replied on 2025-10-09

I find letting them air dry outside is totally fine!

I use a sock

Mind blown. I am absolutely walking around my house with socks on my hands this weekend. I'm overdue to clean so many plants 😅

I just get an old wash cloth get it wet and wipe down every leaf and stems. It's my least favorite thing to do for my plants but it needs to be done so..
