Not to rain on your parade, because it IS beautiful and I have some that look like that as well, but I legit just read yesterday if a leaf unfurls and isn’t as fenestrated, it could mean it needs more light and/or fertilizer. Thought I’d pass that along cause ya learn something new every day! ☺️

yep, either there’s not enough light or nutrients, or the plant is so rootbound that it has no more room to grow

Thank you both for the tips! This is my first monstera, so I’m deff still learning. I think she may need a repot because a lot of her aerial roots are growing out of the pot. She gets grow lights for 4hr per day and fert in the pot at least once a month in addition to misting with infused fertilizer every week

I have a lamp on mine for 8 hours so don’t be afraid to bump that light up! Mine sits in a south window so it gets some nice indirect light if it’s sunny! But even so, I keep the light on it for 8 hours every day and I have a new baby poppin up!

I had it at 8 but then it seemed like my leaves were drying out! Maybe I was overthinking it, idk. I’ll try bumping it back up!

If you’re misting it and have a humidifier you should TOTALLY be fine with 8 hours! I was wild and like years ago decided to buy a monstera cause it looked pretty. I had NO idea what I was doing. And currently it’s in a pot that’s too big with not enough drainage with some of the biggest leaves injured from me not being careful enough and she’s STILL throwing new leaves. I’d say they’re pretty resilient! Once it’s warm enough around here I’ll repot her in a smaller pot with the right soil and hopefully mine will look as healthy as yours!!
