# HELP!!! I’ve just got rid of thrips on my monstera after a recent…

HELP!!!  
I’ve just got rid of thrips on my monstera after a recent infestation- I’ve assumed these black spots are from the infestation but want to check before finally clearing him to mingle with the rest of my plants! 🌱  
Any ideas as to what else this could be from? And whether these black spots are here to stay now??

Have you already tried either spraying or showering or wiping them off?

If they wipe off, I would assume thrips poop 🤢

It's thrips damage 💔 just went through it with my Pilea peperomioides. The black dots stay unfortunately. I ended up removing the damaged leaves. I've heard watering with mosquito dunk water a few times kills any larva or eggs they may have laid in the soil and prevents reinfestation
