# Please help! I staked my Monstera (Planta says Thai constellation but…

_Posted by Neverkathy on 2026-10-15_

Please help! I staked my Monstera (Planta says Thai constellation but I don’t think that’s what the sign says) way too late because I was just awestruck by her leaves and now she is growing sideways and topples over! I put the pole there to support her and try to inch her up but there’s no moving or manipulating what is already sideways! It is THICK! Haha

Can I still get her to grow up? Should I get a wide planter to fit it all?

It is a Thai con. Get it a plank and a pot big enough to support the plank and stand it up.. you essentially have it laying on its back

I agree with this just repot and seat her so she's standing up.

I would also recommend lighting from the front not the top. Because the leaves are gonna continue to turn up and try to grow that way. Good luck! She’s gorgeous
