Hey everyone! I’m really excited about my Thai constellation. I just wanna make sure I’m doing everything right. She has a new leaf with variegation! Should I be watering the moss poll? I watered her with fertilizer today. I also use a humidifier and she gets a mix of bright light and a grow light as well.

From what I learned they should stay moist. I use a small water bottle inverted on the top and let gravity take it down. Works well with several of them \& I feel I need to water the soil less often

Just some advice, don’t stick to planters watering schedule, it’s not very reliable instead stick ur index finger deep into the soil to feel if it’s moist or not, (may wanna use a long wooden coffee stirrer as the pot looks pretty big) the pole it’s on isn’t a moss pole by the way it’s a coco coir pole and are generally harder for these guys to get their roots in, plus the poles need watering more often, so I would switch to an actual moss pole if possible

Thank you! I will look into a real moss pole. Is there anything I have to do to get the plant to attach aerial roots to it?

Nah, the roots will generally find their way to the pole in due time

Always use fertilizer when you water and water only when all the soil is dry! (I use a moisture meter even tho people say they’re inaccurate- my plants are thriving!) . If you want the plant to grow up the moss pole, yes it should be moist. If you just want it there for stability, you can leave it dry. A humidifier is amazing - it will only help! And a grow light doesn’t hurt. Mine is in a window that gets bright indirect for a few hours then it’s not that bright so I keep mine under a grow light as well.
