# I finally got my hands on a Thai constellation from my local plant…

I finally got my hands on a Thai constellation from my local plant shop! I know basic monstera care but are there any tips!? She is currently In what I believe to be a coconut substrate, I do an a humidifier in the same room while I wait for my plant specific one to arrive off Amazon.

First off, well done on getting a humidifier as it’s wayyy better than misting, but make sure you still have ventilation as it can create mould problems, secondly keep it away from other plants for 1 week so you can check for pests.

As monsteras are aroids they have roots that breathe basically so make sure if you repot that you use a chunky aroid mix.
