# Almost killed this tradescantia in soil from (I think) overwatering…

Almost killed this tradescantia in soil from (I think) overwatering it. The leaves were turning brown and floppy and the roots were not looking great 🫣 chopped it up and put the healthy part in some water as a last ditch effort….. now it’s thriving lol. Go figure! 😅🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve found that tradescantia like to dry out completely between watering, but also thrive living in water!

Me too. As soon as I put them in soil they start looking like they hate life
