# Going on vacation at the end of the month but I’m sitting here…

Going on vacation at the end of the month but I’m sitting here thinking about a watering schedule for the friend taking care of the pets \& plants… how do y’all do it? I’ll be gone for 2weeks and have a large variety (100+) Was thinking about putting the thirsty ones on the table for her and watering everything else b4 I go.

Never tried this myself but I’ve seen people do this for their thirsty plants when going on vacation - use a big bowl of water with pieces of twine or cotton running from the bowl to each plant. It’ll gradually water each one as it dries out

But yeah, your snake plant and succulents will be completely fine for 2 weeks :)

I like what send\_nodes said. I’ve also seen people soak a towel and sit plants on it for extended periods of time but I’ve never tried it myself.

You could do what they do when they ship plants. Wet a paper towel and put it on top of the soil and wrap the whole pot and paper towel part in plastic wrap. Keeps the moisture in!
