You are not gonna believe the deal I got on this gorgeous Thai constellation monstera. $30 at RONA and it came with a self watering pot. I was in shock, since I’ve seen this kind of monstera of this size sell for around $70-$100 just for the plant, and a self watering pot of this size usually goes for like $15-$20 minimum. Been dreaming of having one of these plants, please give me some tips on how to care for her 💚

It’s gorgeous. I just had one arrive yesterday and it was also a super bargain. It’s my prettiest plant!

BTW I don’t know how well they do in self watering pots. I haven’t heard it advised to be in one so you might want to consider switching it into a different pot.

Thanks! I was already planning on giving it some chunkier soil so I’ll swap it to a different pot too while I’m at it

It’s like getting a beautiful plant and a free pot with it! Honestly monsteras are by far my favorite plants and the Thai constellation is just the prettiest. I hesitated to buy one because they can get so big and they’re considered toxic, but it’s been no problem taking care of it and keeping it from my dogs. I get a thrill with every new leaf!

I have one that's been doing alright, but my one tip I can give for sure is give it plenty of life so it doesn't lose the varigation. Hope this helps!
