Hi ! So my little experiment Venus fly trap that came in a dome (I heard they die if they are kept this way so I naturally bought one to see if it would die ) has been doing surprisingly great ! And now it needs a repot ! Any advice on what I should use ? I really don’t want to hurt this baby !

That’s so cool! I don’t have any advice… do the babies sprout as mini mouths?? I love these guys so much I’ve always wanted to try to grow one lol

Yes ! Anything that triggers the hairs on the traps

Aww he looks great!! I have my vft in spaghnum moss and always keep a little water in the saucer.

For my carnivorous plants I use sphagnum moss, and ensure it’s always wet. I have them in catch jars and just always keep the water topped up. I rinse them when the jars get a little cloudy and do a complete water refresh.

Question for you though. what makes you feel your plant needs a repot?  
These have small root systems, and usually take quite a long time to out grow their container.

But that doesn’t mean yours doesn’t!

It’s growing out of the container lol (on the bottom ) also it’s getting really big !
