# Luna (Left) Switching to full water culture, from Akadama. Since…

Luna (Left)  
Switching to full water culture, from Akadama.

Since water culture was a success from my other 2 orchids, I am now doing the same for this little baby. I have removed dried roots and cut a little of the bottom stem.

Freckles (Right), has been a success.

So pretty! Anything else I should know before get an orchid?

Play with them to learn them? 😊 I'm still trying to learn them as well but the one that I got successful on is full water culture. Just try to remove as much soil before transferring them to water, whatever is left is ok. You will lose all the original roots, don't be afraid (I did at the beginning lol). I got them under grow light for 16 hrs. Soon you'll see new roots and leaf. Goodluck!
