# Ok, I need help identifying a plant that Ive had for a few months…

_Posted by PlantNewbSTL on 2025-11-24_

Ok, I need help identifying a plant that Ive had for a few months now. This whole time I thought it was a blushing Philo. That’s what the pot said. And that’s what Planta told me when I scanned it a while ago. Another member had commented on another post of mine and said they didn’t believe it was a blushing Philo. So I looked and now I don’t think it’s either lol. I just rescanned it again in Planta and NOW it tells me it’s an elephant ear (mixed variety) I literally don’t know what I have lol which means I’m giving it the wrong care and is properly why im stuck at 3.5 leaves haha

PLEASE HELPPPP.

THANK YOU.

Do the leaves have a velvety texture?

#### PlantNewbSTL replied on 2025-11-24

Actually yes. Very similar to my creeping velvet

Then my best guess would be Adelomena Red Velvet
