# So....what's happening with these leaves? I thought when they turn…

So....what's happening with these leaves? I thought when they turn like in this way it means they're trying to reach light? But the light is above them and they are turning downwards. Could it be the mirror behind there reflecting the light somehow? One is a monstera, one is a Florida ghost and the third is a heart leaf philodendron. Any input would be appreciated

Maybe they just.....wanna face down? 😂 I think plants have probably done weirder things? 🤷🏻 They're thriving and growing great so I don't know either, really haha

lots of climbing plants do this as they get taller. i think it's to make room for bigger leaves as it grows. i've seen this in many of my plants but it's never been indicative of a problem.

I have found that some of my philodendrons don’t like being directly under grow lights. My Florida ghost hates them!! I put her in the window getting less light and she’s so much happier.
