Keep the soil moist.

these are so prolific — you could give it a good chop and in 3 months you’d never know lol

looks like it’s probably been overwatered. though commonly recommended to keep moist, tradescantia actually prefer their soil to dry out a fair bit between waterings. i wait until about half of the soil is dry before watering again, but they can handle the soil drying out completely between waterings.
