How does it not get root rot?? #### n4tgeeoさんが2025-05-11に返信しました I let the plants sit in the water for 30 minutes to an hour. bottom watering allows the plants root system to take up as much water as it needs. Unless I’ve freshly repotted something or the soil is really really dry (both cases I too water into a resovoir and then let the plants sit bottom water with the water that drained) and of course I’m not an expert but I find it easier than top watering. plus i’ve had a fungus gnat problem and bottom watering keeps the topsoil dry! ### Lexyさんが2025-05-15にコメントしました Is there a reason if you just repotted something why you don't? #### n4tgeeoさんが2025-05-15に返信しました I usually top water if something’s just been repotted because it’s a faster way to make sure that soil gets drenched. fresh soil doesn’t have any moisture in it. whereas soil that’s been watered before is already used to being wet ### Lexyさんが2025-05-15にコメントしました Also, do you bottom water succulents?
