# OMG I actually got an albino monstera clipping from a new friend and…

OMG I actually got an albino monstera clipping from a new friend and it’s BEAUTIFUL!! It has a good node on it so I stuck it in my 55 g to allow the root to grow because I don’t have any leeca or anything other then dirt and wasn’t sure if the root node was long enough to simply plant

I would let it get a little longer. But putting it in dirt Is fine. Just keep it moist or on a good watering schedule so it doesn’t dry out. Usually takes two weeks for it to get good roots that I’ve seen with experience.
