When I purchased this plant from the Lowe’s Discount Dungeon It had 3 huge leaves that hung over the pots side like sea sick humans on a rocking boat. And while walking through the store with it I swear I heard some one or some bug say out out loud “Hey everyone. Fly now. We’re leaving in this pot and we have plenty of room.” Because as I was at the register I looked down as the soil was moving. And yes, believe you may I said everybody at the register: \- Come on now give me this plan for free if I save it it’ll be a miracle that is if it doesn’t kill my plants at home. - I really low point for Lowe’s for not giving me this guy for nothing. After bringing him home, and taking care of his infestation, he began to just not be right. And the leaves started to die. They got all perky, but they started to die. And one leaf left that was mighty sad looking my friend said: \- Cut it. Get rid of it. Get that leaf out of there.- I was shocked I was flabbergasted. I was like “what that there will be no leaves then.” But I did as I was told. The plant was the plant with no leaves. And then all of a sudden. BAM ! A leaf. Then BAM! Another another leaf. And then I cut the leaves off and BABAMB! A new leaf. Then another. And now a third is sprouting!!! Lesson number 1 Always do what a woman tells you. Lesson number 2 Cutting the leaves on this beauty actually helps it produce more. The pot was one of the very few that Rite-Aid had these past years that was good for plants. And boy could you tell this year that the pharmacy chain was struggling. This year nothing but plastic pots. It was an awful selection and they had so many plastic pots that couldn’t even sell at 75% off. \- J A note to American CEO’s: Hello. Are you a big box store or pharmacy chain CEO? We know times are tough for customers, employees, \& for the business. Heck the only one’s doing well are you CEO’s, you lucky dogs. Am I right? A word of advice from a simple Bachelor of Arts guy to a Masters in Business person. We still like quality. So next year when you’re thinking about pots for plants think less is more. If you run out then you run out. Low quality plastic pots just means you’ll have excessive inventory. Heck there aren’t enough dirt pudding recipes to fill all of the excessive plastic pot inventory that you have. So next year, get quality pots with the same budget. They always sell out and when they do, well you can say to us customers “You snooze you loose. Come back next year for quality pots.” Thank you. p.s. You might want to ask your gardener or grounds keeper what a quality pot is. They should know. Your hands are like model hands and we need them to remain that way, right?
