Hi friends!!

My alocasia seems to have flowered. Two have died off \& the other is still going strong.

I’ve read mixed things about this… is she happy or stressed? 🫣

could be either! are you noticing any other more concrete signs of stress?

None. I bought it a month or so ago, hadn’t had time to repot until now but she seems to have been happy the entire time.

the two leaves dying is concerning — i missed that when I read it. I bought a Jacklyn in April — it’s grown a new leaf but hasn’t dropped any. It could be stress from the move \& repot. Enjoy the flower for now and try not to make any changes — hopefully that’s all the leaf loss was about

So the flowers actually died before I repotted. I’m wondering if maybe it’s because it’s been so hot where I live. This sits on my sun porch \& at its hottest it’s been up to 120 (according to my room thermometer/himidity tracker) with little air flow. It’s not typically that hot but we had a couple days that were intense.
