I love croton! But lol they get stressed very easily so if it dyes you probably did nothing wrong lol  
But they are still one of my favorites and was my very first house plant!!!!!

I know they stress easy. lol. I’ve had one before. Two actually. But they died when we went to Disney a few years ago. It got too cold in our house for them. We went during winter. I didn’t want one because of it. But here we are. It’s been going strong since I repotted it. It’s definitely anchored in there. My other two never stressed. Idk what I did. They never went faint either.

They are big babies lol 😂 I want a rose croton next!  
Never been able to keep these little flame ones going but maybe I have a plant room I might succeed
