I’m getting a hang of the winter light, y’all. Note that you can buy every piece of this DIY life currently at IKEA. I got an extra black rolling cart for outdoors endeavors, but I gotta get a job and friends at some point this year lol. Moving stuff around and planning for rain is something I’ve yet to automate 🤖🌻⛅️

Ps in this journey, I’ve had the most success with even a few hours of direct sun and then modest grow lights throughout the day. The two small groups on top of the twin cages against the (west) wall is a good example of this.

pps part of moving everything around was to clean up whatever disease or bugs might be around from last year. The other part was to keep a little music/photography area on the long table. Did it.

Nice setup. I need something similar for my smaller plants. I have the restaurant kitchen wire shelving. Need to assemble it. I just bought the metal rolling cart last week. Still need to assemble that too!😁 I’m looking for the long trays to hold the excess water.

Thank you. However, I’m temporarily using yellow twine I found when I moved to secure some things. It looks like caution tape ha.

I wish I could weld because I would cut a bunch of this to fit exactly how I want - which I think I finally know ha.

The goal of “one timer, two or three lights” would be possible if I didn’t have 126 different heights to accommodate. I try to get input from art and design friends on all this, but I lose them when I start in on “so these are all mostly eyes, and their light needs to match X, but they can move over here in the Fall.”

I go from “wow” to “ugh” a few times per week ha. It’s such a tiny square footage, but it’s around 120 plants, which is both wow and ugh and “slow down!”
