# i got this bamboo plant at lowe’s today because it was on clearance!…

i got this bamboo plant at lowe’s today because it was on clearance! (and also a super nice employee who also seemed to be a plant enjoyer marked it down from $5 to $4 for me).  
i was wondering if this kind of bamboo has to stay in this container, or if i would be able to put it into a pot somehow. any advice would be great!

You can either put it in a different water prop. Or plant it.

It definitely needs a bigger vase if keeping it in water. I have kept mine in water for years and it is doing great. I also put aquarium stones in the vase so the plant doesn’t tip to one side. Also controls the amount of water.
