# Alright Plantanauts, I'm calling a hail mary to figure out what's…

Alright Plantanauts, I'm calling a hail mary to figure out what's going on with my Kalanchoe, Pink Mama. I repotted her about 4 months ago, she was growing like a weed and already flowering. Fast forwarding a week, I moved to around the Dallas area, gave her a spot with plenty of sun, and now she's slowly deteriorating. Leaves have drooped considerably, many of them are shriveling back more than normal. Some roots are popping out above the ground, which leads me to think it's time for a bigger pot. What are y'alls thoughts? Any feedback is appreciated.

some plants don’t like moving spots maybe that’s the reason 🤷‍♀️

It’s normal for this species to drop the bottom leaves as the plant grows upward, especially if it’s flowering. Midway and all the way up to the top looks really healthy. I believe your plant is just maturing quickly and going through the normal growth cycle, no need to be alarmed IMO. They’re pretty resilient to placement changes as well as repot if you feel that you need to do either.
When mine flowered the first time it dropped all but 6 top leaves and those absolutely exploded with pups. Some people say MOT die after it blooms, but this has not been my experience. Mines been instantly flowering for almost a whole year. Hope this helps!
