Any idea on how and ware to prune my African milk tree how do you cut it my ceiling is 8 feet and tree top is touching.

From what I read, the best time to prune is spring and summer, wear gloves to keep the sap, which can be irritating to the skin, from getting on your hands, make sure that you don't cut off more than one-third of the plant's leaves in one session, and manage height by trimming the tallest branches, always cutting above a leaf node.
