# Sometime ago I uprooted my Alocasia and put her in water with a few…

Sometime ago I uprooted my Alocasia and put her in water with a few Pothos cuttings. She never grew more than two leaves at a time, and the biggest leaf was no more than 2 inches long, with a stem no longer than 6 inches.  
Well it’s been a couple months now and she has shed all the old leaves, her roots are like a mile long, and she gave me a new leaf! 3”, on like 8” of stem! And she’s making a corm down there!
