I’m a new plant parent and just brought home 4 new plants today. Hope to repot them this weekend! I’m so excited but scared I’m going to kill my plant babies. Wish me luck! I will take any and all advice.

Your sansiveria (snake plant) is going to be hardy. Don’t overwater them! Mine (3 varieties) have done very well on the planta app schedule, even though my basement apartment doesn’t have tons of light.  
The prayer plant is sensitive to chemicals in the water; it’s wise to use distilled water for it.  
They are beautiful! I like the pots you chose.  
I’m a newbie too. They are rewarding and make me happy!

Thank you so much. Do I need a different soil than regular potting soil for the snake plant?

I used a succulent specific mix from Ivy May. It has larger chunks of material and allows for better drainage. I’m no pro; I think using a soil designed for succulents sets you up for success. From what I have read overwatering or having your succulents roots sitting in moist soil long term is the quickest way to harm them.

Great choices! I hope you enjoy them. I like to research my plants, there is a lot of good information out there for each individual plant. YouTube and Pinterest are good places to start.
