# Y’all like Steven’s new hairdo? Steven is a rescue I picked up off…

Y’all like Steven’s new hairdo? Steven is a rescue I picked up off the concrete at my apartment complex because the landscapers got too close to a cactus, and damaged it. I scooped him up and he came home to me for rehab. Now he’s growing new bits! (Also, behold the rock my son decorated) I think he’s a prickly pear cactus? If anyone knows better, please correct me!

It is indeed a prickly pear and it’s time for a repot. They grow quickly; if you live in Zone 8 or higher you can safely plant him outside.

Also easy on the water! Once a month or follow Planta’s advice.
