Well I’m still learning things on my plant journey. I started with 15 plants in mid July. I lost one plant. And I have another on the way out. I believe I’ve done everything I can for it. Its brother is thriving lol All the others are thriving. I added an olive tree to my collection this morning. My landlord dropped her off. I’m guessing it’s a black olive tree.

2nd dead plant. I tried to revive it. Stuck a glass over it and nothing lol

The way It looked in the first picture , it may be root rotting, too wet of soil not much oxigen,

Yes, I bought a moisture meter a couple weeks ago. It’s been a plant saver for me lol I don’t wanted anymore until there almost bone dry. And nobody dies haha
