# Was wondering if anyone knew why my plants new leaves are coming in…

Was wondering if anyone knew why my plants new leaves are coming in like this when up until recently they’ve come in completely purple? Is there a leaf color that means the plant is doing better?

The newer leaves on this plant I believe tend to be more green, then settle into that deep purple color as it ages :)

I’ve found that the leaves come out fully purple when it gets too much light and the green just means it’s healthy

Sunlight
I have a half dozen of these with long vines. The ones in low light areas are smaller and more green. The ones with lots of sun are much bigger and a deep purple
