Fern tips: you are going to need to water it often, so take precautions against root rot. Give it a higher drainage soil mix at the bottom of the pot, plus a soil type with good moisture retention at the top. Most ferns like part or even full shade. If you have a humidifier, put the fern near it. Watering is like once every three days; but adjust based on your growing conditions
