I love my Pickle Plant, as she’s growing like a weed! I do have a question though… should I take the supports off and let her do her thing? What is her thing?🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve seen some grow really tall and stay that way but i’ve also seen some trail. Personally I let mine grow tall and upright, with the occasional stragglers. You could take the supports off and see what she decides to do and if you don’t like it then propagate and stick it back in your pot 😊

I love this plant! Such a weirdo. 😄 Reminds me of the sand worms in Beetlejuice.

Anyway I let mine be wiggly… I wonder if it depends how much light they get whether they stand upright or trail? 🤔

I looked it up, it says age and maturity causes it to trail along with potting soil, light, and how you water it. Having it in a hanging pot also encourages it to trail and it can be genetics that cause it to trail

Good Lord, it’s a pickle plant, not a pencil plant! Oops 😬 I’ve had her name wrong all this time 🤔 I corrected it 🤪
