Wasn’t expecting a $11.99 PPP at Trader Joe’s this week, totally made my day! They’ve been such a bucket list plant for me and the one I snagged is super healthy plus has some stunning colors.

All my rescues from grocery stores get their soil changed out as well as a hose-down with warm water and a good drenching with 70% isopropyl alcohol (you do have to wait for it to dry before setting out under the sun or it can burn the leaves). I would quarantine them for about a week but usually I don’t have the space.
