# My favorite plant. For those who haven’t seen my posts before I live…

My favorite plant. For those who haven’t seen my posts before I live in the sub arctic. Most of my plants I fly up from down south. Last time I gave my mom a list to shop for me but the head staff at the nursery made a recommendation. Honestly at first I wasn’t too sure since it meant one less of the plants I had selected could come up as my friends personal item on the plane.

Omg I adore her. Philodendron green Congo variegated. She has been growing so well and keeps giving me new leaves.

Philodendrons are my jam it seems.

Philodendrons are the best!! So forgiving and so much diversity! I’m with you for sure!! She’s a beauty! 🥰

Living in the sub artic, what’s your trick to keep the plants alive? Winter will soon hit the East coast and I’m looking for some great tips and advice.

Everything is inside always, added humidity is crucial, decent lights is essential. Windows are triple glazed at minimum and well installed to help prevent drafts near the window.

My plants have grown a lot since last year so it will be an adjustment to use my “greenhouse” less which helped with maintaining higher humidity.
