this alocasia zebrina is my first plant (besides from a monstera i propagated from my parents) and it has grew a baby leaf after just 2 weeks!! is there anything i need to know about helping these leaves grow properly and helping them thrive?

Alocasias tend to be picky plants so make sure you’ve researched proper care and upkeep. My poor Polly is browning at the leaf tips because she doesn’t get enough humidity. Trust, I’m trying and I even bring her in the bathroom when I shower🥲 So, LOTS of humidity and they don’t like their soil to dry out so make sure you keep it damp but not soggy. Alocasias also tend to do best in well-draining soil. Otherwise, good luck and congratulations on your new baby! Enjoy plant parenthood. It’s so rewarding
