# 5 months after getting this clipping from my grandmother's 57year old…

5 months after getting this clipping from my grandmother's 57year old rubber plant. It is growing it's first new leaf.

Trying to transfer it in February with freezing temperatures killed all but 4 cuttings. Rot killed the other 3. This last one hung on and last month grew it's first roots. Now it has a leaf. I'm so relieved I can carry on this legacy plant! This was a stressful 5 months...
