# Y’all. After YEARS of learning, and failing, and throwing plants…

_Posted by Dani on 2026-07-10_

Y’all. After YEARS of learning, and failing, and throwing plants away, and starting over, and researching, and developing techniques, I have my precious Hoya Phoebe’s first ever bloom as a six-year-old plant (it smells like chocolate), A SECOND Hoya blooming, which blew me away because it’s only a couple years old, A BABY CARNIVOROUS PITCHER, a flower on my polkadot begonia (!!!!) which only a year ago was eaten all the way down to the dirt by my cats, AND a wild Bergamot, canna lily, coreopsis, snapdragons, and hydrangeas all blooming at the exact same time as I go out of town for my nieces wedding. Whatcha gonna do I guess. At least one of them better still be here when I get back.
😍😍😍 😭😭😭 😂😂😂 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
