Is that a heater behind the plant? If so maybe move heater/plant.

No it's a air purifier , not plugged in

I love a good rescue!! what’s your usual routine when you get these home?

Well I'm still learning but when I bring home a new plant I keep it away from the others until I check it out \& treat it as if it may have bugs or so with insecticide soap , then I will check again in a few days to see if it is still ok then I will add to the others ... :)
