I got this plant for Christmas this year. I may have forgotten I had it and didn’t take it out of the box. (I felt terrible) when I finally had what I needed to plant it and take care of it I opened the box. It was growing and the stem was completely flat and parallel with the ground. It looked terrible. I planted it with what I thought was to high of hopes. But within less than a week it looked like this. It all goes to prove the healing power of time❤️🪴☺️

Amaryllis are so beautiful. I'm sure it was happy to get out of the box. Do a little research and you can get it to bloom again next year.
