Hey guys!! So I just got this Rubber Tineke plant! She’s so pretty! Literally my dream plant! I was so lucky to find her on sale at Target! Any tips to keep her happy and healthy would be very appreciated!

i got one at Target on sale too!! she looked so sad n overwatered i had to save her lol. but she’s honestly been doing great in the soil she’s in, even tho it’s peat moss. gonna repot her soon since she’s got roots comin out everywhere!

also idk if it’s just me but i don’t think the tray on the bottom comes off. i’ve been taking the nursery pot out to water her

With pots like this I just pour the water in the bottom to bottom water 🤷‍♀️. I’ve also been wanting a tineke plant, so cute!!

Lots of light! And well draining soil

give it a repot into a new pot. 😄Who knows if you can trust these big companies with potting our babies 😂🪴🤟🏻

I do not. The last few plants I’ve gotten have had black mesh surrounding the root bases and you could tell it was hindering root growth

Be careful about too much direct sunlight as the white part of her leaves can easily sunburn or so I was told. I have four of these lovely Tinekes and I just love them, they’re so beautiful! Look at my earlier post and you’ll see a picture of all my babies. Pretty, aren’t they!😊💚🪴🐜🍅
